Artists from around the world challenged to create 2 works of art for 2 University Campuses

To celebrate 50 years of the University of Minho

zet gallery and dstgroup provide works to the Braga and Guimarães Campuses for a total of €30k.

zet gallery and dstgroup will provide two works of art to the University of Minho – Braga and Guimarães campuses – as part of the celebrations of its 50th anniversary, and will invite artists, both Portuguese and international, plastic and visual, through an Open Call that closes on February 14, 2024.

The jury, made up of a representative from zet gallery, another from the University of Minho and visual artist Sandra Baía, will analyze the proposals and select the two best projects by the same author or different authors.

Each of the works, destined for the Gualtar Campus, in Braga, and the Azurém Campus, in Guimarães, will be allocated €15K in support.

From December 26th until January 30th, 2024, candidates will be able to request more information or a technical visit to the site, together with the zet gallery team, via email at

zet gallery will be responsible for the production and implementation of the works of art, with the winner actively monitoring the entire production and implementation process, as well as providing all the technical information necessary for their correct production and implementation.

Applications can be made from today, December 18, 2023, and the respective Open Call Regulations can also be consulted on the social networks of zet gallery, dstgroup and the University of Minho.

The Open Call will be open until 11:59 pm on Friday, February 2, 2024, proposals must be sent to the email and the results will be announced by 11:59 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.
