Santa Casa Alfama for the second Friday takes Fado to the streets of Lisbon, this time with the “Prince of Fado“, Artur Batalha in Alfama.
In this initiative of the Santa Casa Alfama Festival, take Fado to the streets of Lisbon in June and July, to support culture and, in this case, all artists linked to Fado, which are very precise in these times of pandemic.
The mini-concerts in Lisbon’s neighbourhoods started at Castelo on the 11th with Conceição Ribeiro, on Friday the 18th it was in Alfama with Artur Batalha had to accompany him Ivan Cardoso on the fado guitar and on the Portuguese guitar Pedro Amendoeira, but will continue in the coming weeks of June and July.
On the next Friday, the 25th, it will be at Terreiro do Paço with the young Maura Airez, there will be three more mini-concerts in July at Mouraria and Graça, on the 2nd and 9th, with Jaime Dias and Pedro Galveias respectively, ending on the 16th in Bairro Alto with Natalino de Jesus, always at 5 pm.
