The second single from André Henriques’ upcoming album is now available. Entitled “As janelas são de abrir”, the Portuguese musician’s new theme features a video directed by Paulo Segadães.
The Portuguese photographer and director had already worked on the concept for the album’s first advance – the song “Os fantasmas de amanhã” – and he once again signed the concept for this new video together with André Henriques.
Para a gravação do novo álbum, André Henriques esteve em estúdio com dois músicos brasileiros. O baterista e percussionista Domenico Lancellotti (Orquestra Imperial, Adriana Calcanhotto) e o multi-instrumentista Ricardo Dias Gomes (Caetano Veloso) formaram o trio com André Henriques que se encarregaram de adornar as composições do compositor português.
O álbum foi gravado na íntegra em Lisboa e contou ainda com uma outra colaboração vinda do Brasil para a mistura e masterização, que ficou a cargo de Daniel Carvalho no estúdio Dois Irmãos (Rio de Janeiro).
O novo álbum é aguardado para a segunda metade de 2023 e tem apresentação já anunciado em Lisboa (Teatro Maria Matos) para 15 de novembro. O artista atua também pela Casa da Música Jorge Peixinho, Montijo, a 22 de Setembro.
For the recording of the new album, André Henriques was in the studio with two Brazilian musicians. Drummer and percussionist Domenico Lancellotti (Orquestra Imperial, Adriana Calcanhotto) and multi-instrumentalist Ricardo Dias Gomes (Caetano Veloso) formed the trio with André Henriques who was in charge of adorning the compositions of the Portuguese composer.
The album was recorded in its entirety in Lisbon and also had another collaboration from Brazil for mixing and mastering, which was in charge of Daniel Carvalho at the Dois Irmãos studio (Rio de Janeiro).
The new album is expected for the second half of 2023 and has already been announced in Lisbon at Teatro Maria Matos for November 15th. The artist also performs at Casa da Música Jorge Peixinho, Montijo, on September 22nd.
