The wait is over. Five years after his last solo performance, Asaf Avidan – Israeli artist responsible for hits like “Reckoning Song” – is back on stage with a new tour, Ichnology Solo Tour. The tour is scheduled to visit Portugal, next October, with concerts at Casa da Musica (Porto) on October 2nd and at the Tivoli BBVA (Lisbon) on October 3rd. As is already his heyday, fans can look forward to two unforgettable nights during which Avidan will once again demonstrate what makes him an artist like few others.
Navigating flawlessly between his intimate serenades, his charismatic storytelling, and his multi-instrumental dexterity, Asaf Avidan alone on stage is an indomitable force. His talent was already known since the time he created Asaf Avidan & The Mojos, one of the most successful bands in Israel, but it was his solo debut that took him to another level, collecting strong praise from international critics.
Before ‘The Reckoning’, an album that reached Gold and became the best-selling independent album in Israel, Avidan already had great musical achievements, including having opened for great musicians such as Bob Dylan, Robert Plant, Ben Harper and Lou Reed. ‘Anagnorisis‘ (2020) is the latest album from the singer-songwriter who has already reached #1 in 14 countries across Europe, topped the continent’s biggest festivals, and sold out some of the biggest venues.
