Asteroid passes close to Earth this week

NASA will be following the trajectory of the 2020 TGI, an asteroid with a size between 79 and 180 meters that is expected to pass quite close by our planet this Saturday, November 7.

Asteroid 2020 TGI is expected to pass a distance of 5.6 million kilometers from our planet. Although an impact is not predictable, the asteroid will still be watched by NASA’s division.

Even if the 2020 TGI was on a collision course with Earth, it is believed that it would not pose any danger as it would likely disintegrate upon entering the atmosphere.
