Asus unveils new ROG Zephyrus line for gaming
Asus has unveiled its new range of gaming notebooks from the ROG Zephyrus line, highlighting the ROG Zephyrus S17 and the ROG Zephyrus M16, under the motto “2 Unleash the Tiger Inside”.
The notebooks use Intel’s 11th generation H series processors in i5, i7, and i9 versions. Intel and Asus collaborated to fine-tune the new notebooks, presenting for the first time a screen with dimensions larger than the chassis.
In addition to laptops, Asus has also unveiled new laptop backpacks and accessories, branded caps, and even used retro-style video games to promote the features of its machines.
The ROG Zephyrus S17 promises a gaming experience for the most demanding gamers, with a processor up to I9-11990h with 8 colors, 16 threads up to 4.9 GHz, and an NVidia RTX 3080 graphics card, the top of the range prepared for the most demanding games demanding of the market.
It has the Dynamic Boost system, so that the notebook is always optimized for each task. Its G-Sync optimization allows to reduce battery drain and image latency.
The ROG Intelligent Cooling refrigeration system continues to be a priority for the manufacturer, offering the new AAS Plus format, with 25% more air circulation, reducing the temperature by up to 10º and reducing noise thanks to its 84-blade fans. Its keyboard continues to rise, now 5º, as it opens the screen, ensuring greater air circulation, aided by the thermal liquid metal system to cool the machine.
For the model, Asus removed the second screen and pulled the keyboard up slightly, offering a larger base for resting the hands. The keys have mechanical switches promising a better writing experience. At the top of the keyboard, there is a special configurable “Multiwheel” wheel, to be able to control computer features.
This premium machine offers a 17-inch monitor at 165 Hz with G-Sync up to a resolution of 4K. Highlight for its very thin frames, and this time Asus did not leave the webcam aside, reinserting it at the top. The gaming battery should last a maximum of two or three hours depending on the game, but in navigation mode it can reach nine o’clock. It has a six-speaker system with double woofers with power cancellation promising high-fidelity sound.
