Based on the children’s short film directed by Bill Mason and produced by the National Film Board Canada, Paddle to the Sea is a journey through the aquatic world and a true hymn to nature. In this concert, one of the most important resources on the planet is evoked, Water. On a journey through river and sea channels, the audience is transported to a world of imaginary sounds and nature – a bold move towards the versatility of percussion.

The Pulsat Percussion Group was founded in 2012 with the aim of participating in the Young Musicians Award, in which it was immediately awarded 2nd place in the Chamber Music category, higher level, followed by 2nd prize in the III City of Alcobaça International Chamber Music Competition (CIMCA), in 2013. Since then the group has established a unique path in the musical landscape with virtuoso and energetic performances that inspire and educate. He performed concerts throughout the country, Spain, Luxembourg and Türkiye. On an educational level, he has led masterclasses in several national schools, for musicians of all ages and experience levels. He commissioned and premiered works by Portuguese composers João C. Pacheco, Jorge Prendas, Igor C. Silva, Daniel Bernardes, Paulo Perfeito and Daniel Martinho.
