The Portuguese athlete, Auriol Dongmo, became world champion in the shot put, in Belgrade, at the World Cup indoors, and broke the absolute national record with the mark of 20.43 meters.
The Portuguese, who was fourth at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, started the race with two throws of 19.32 meters, then she made two null throws, and ended up with a throw of 20.43.
In second and third place were the North American, Chase Ealy with a score of 20.21m and in third place was the Dutch Jessica Schilder with 19.46m.
The other Portuguese athlete Jessica Inchude, who was invited at the last minute, was in 12th position, with a mark of 17.58 meters.
