Ava Max, the global pop sensation, arrives in Portugal for the first time in her own name with a unique concert at Coliseu dos Recreios, in Lisbon, on May 18 of this year. Tickets are available on March 3rd at 10 am at everythingisnew.pt and at the usual places.
Amanda Ava Koci, is one of the pop music sensations of the moment, which has numerous hit singles, collaborations with industry giants, and Platinum certification by the RIAA on her debut album, Heaven & Hell (2020).
In 2022, Ava releases her second album Diamonds & Dancefloors, with the standout single “Million Dollar Baby”, which achieved 10 million streams and 8 million views in just two weeks after release and has accumulated more than 108 million views in global streams. Acclaimed by PAPER as “a euphoric euro dance number”, the video currently has over 29 million views on YouTube. The second album also includes recent releases “Cold As Ice” and “One of Us”, the ’80s disco track “Dancing’s Done”, the powerful “Weapons” and the self-assured “Maybe You’re The Problem”.
The self-penned album alongside an elite, GRAMMY®-winning cast of writers and producers, sold out within minutes of the opening concert on February 2 at the famous Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles.
2023 is proving very fruitful for Ava, who already has a stellar performance on CNN’s New Year’s Eve Live and an exclusive article in Rolling Stone, which said: “Max’s vocals shine on ‘Ghost’ when he sings about ‘feeling like haunted’ by her ex, between glowing lines of synths. In ‘Hold Up, Wait a Minute’, Max questions his partner’s connection to a past love in a disco-heavy song. And on the project’s most emotional song, ‘One of Us’, which begins as a ballad but turns into an empowering anthem about coming to terms with the end of a relationship.”
The 18th of May then marks the debut of the American singer and songwriter, Ava Max, in Portugal, when she takes the stage of the Coliseu de Lisboa for a concert long awaited by her Portuguese fans.
