Axians establishes protocol with Professional Women´s Network Lisbon
On the day that International Women’s Day was marked, Axians Portugal announced a protocol with Professional Women´s Network Lisbon (PWN Lisbon) to enhance the professional development of women within the organization.
It should be remembered that PWN Lisbon is a non-profit organization, integrated in PWN Global, with the mission of promoting the professional development of women in all its stages, through internationally recognized practices, namely training programs in leadership and mentoring, research and development of the influence network and sharing of models of excellence.
Carmo Palma, Managing Director at Axians Portugal, points out: “At Axians, opportunities exist regardless of gender and we have internal mechanisms that promote equality, diversity and awareness against discrimination between employees. The criteria used for recruitment, promotion, salary review, among others, are associated with merit.”
And she adds: “This partnership comes within the scope of our purpose of inclusion and diversity in the team, supporting our female leaders with tools so that they can grow professionally.”
In the context of this collaboration, Axians Portugal will be able to participate and benefit from PWN Lisbon programs (Leadership, Mentoring, Youth, Women on Board, and Engaging Men), as well as its role model, training and networking actions, in a logic of sharing models of excellence. PWN Lisbon, in turn, will integrate Axians Portugal’s strategic actions and take advantage of resources and spaces that are part of the partnership.
