Azores Burning Summer Festival Launches ‘Eco School’ Project

The Azores Burning Summer festival, which takes place on August 30 and 31, in Porto Formoso, São Miguel, launched the ‘Eco Escola’ informal education project to raise awareness of environmental issues.

The festival, which this year welcomes Salvador Sobral and Sara Tavares, among others, launched the ‘Eco Escola’ project, which starts this month with the digital campaign ‘Praias de Plástico’ on social networks, created in partnership with activists and ambassadors. Created in 2015, Azores Burning Summer combines music programming with ecological programming, promoting the debates ‘ECO Talks’, an eco-design fair and an exhibition of electric vehicles.
