Ana Lua Caiano once again chose B.Leza to present her new album Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado, but this time she was welcomed by a sold-out room, who knew her work, for a night of beauty.
In 2023, Ana was at B.Leza to present her first works, but in the author’s words, “with much fewer people”, it was not like this time, when the room was exhausted and eager to hear her.
Ana Lua Caiano has taken the music scene by storm in Portugal and abroad, fusing traditional Portuguese music with contemporary electronics, mixing sounds from Portugal’s musical past with beats and synthesizers, and has gained followers with each concert she performs.
Owner of an infectious smile, she returned to the Lisbon room to present Vou Ficar Neste Quadrado, published in March by the German publisher Glitterbeat, using traditional instruments such as tambourine, bass drum, melodica, keyboards to which she adds synthesizers, and several layers of vocal loops and instrumentals, how wonderful it is for those who listen to it.
It was impossible not to dance or at least sway to the sound she produced, alone on stage, but of course this time she had the company of her fans who sang with her, song after song. The only drawback to the concert is the low light, which is combined with excessive smoke, sometimes making it seem like we are in a thick fog.
“Ando em Círculos”, “De Cabeça Colada ao Chão”, “Os Meus Sapatos Não Tocam nos Teus”, “Se Dançar É Só Depois”, “Mão na Mão” and “O Bicho Anda Por Aí”, were some of the songs who passed through B.Leza in a concert lasting around 1h30m in which Ana Lua Caiano won B.Leza.
