BAAN Saraiva’s launches special New Year’s menu

a New Year’s Eve with Thai flavor

The end of the year is coming and with it the doubt of where to celebrate the entry into 2025. The Thai restaurant BAAN Saraiva’s presents, for this date, a refined proposal with intense and luxurious flavours.

From a menu specially designed for New Year’s Eve, you can taste and be enveloped by an unforgettable selection of dishes carefully thought out to detail to provide an explosion of sensations typical of this Asian cuisine, based on the premium and genuine ingredients that the restaurant has already accustomed us.

As a starter, BAAN Saraiva’s bets on the following options (to choose from): Miam Koong, with black tiger shrimp, chilli jam, lemon grass and kaffir lime leaves, for lovers of shrimp; or the traditional fresh chicken Spring Roll with citronella infusion, for an explosion of flavours with mint, coriander, Thai basil, parsley, cucumber and spicy sauce; or something lighter, like the Yum Som Oo salad, composed of pomelo with grated coconut, peanuts, lime leaves, shallot.

Also as a starter will be served a Thai Aromatic Consommé with coriander, galanga, kafiir leaves and lime juice. A true delight for lovers of Thai cuisine.

For the main course, the gastronomic experience proposed by BAAN Saraiva’s is to choose one of the following options, equally irresistible: on one we celebrate the flavours of the sea and on the other,r we awaken our senses with a meat option. Thus, for fish, the space proposes an extraordinary Lobster Chu Chi, a dish that combines the juiciness of the lobster with the aromatic red curry, softened by the creamy touch of coconut milk. This culinary treasure is further enriched with the freshness of kaffir lime leaves and coriander. As a meat dish, the restaurant brings the majestic Aged Beef Loin, dry-cured black Angus, which reaches perfection in each bite. Grilled with a delicious tamarind sauce that balances sweetness and acidity, accompanied by grilled tomato, with a sophisticated final touch of Vietnamese coriander.

To accompany the main course, you can choose a colourful stir-fried vegetable or the wonderful steamed jasmine rice Hom Mali.

And because there is no celebration without a sweet moment, to finish this Special Menu of the New Year, BAAN Saraiva proposes a Coconut Mousse, with Matcha crumble, a Coffee Mousse, with black sesame sauce or a Khao Niew Mamuang, composed of glutinous rice of pandan, with coconut cream and fresh mango.

This special dinner, designed to offer a luxurious Thai experience on one of the most vibrant nights of the year, will have a value of 90€ per person, plus 25€ extra with pairing of wine, water, coffee or tea. The dishes indicated may vary according to availability, it is not possible to choose other options (usual menu).

This New Year’s Menu of BAAN Saraiva’s, a restaurant that integrates the Thai Select Award”, certified by the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, is only available for dinner on December 31, 2024, and we suggest advance booking for one of the following shifts: 19h00 – 21h45 and 22h00 – 01h00. Prepayment is required for booking confirmation.

As previously announced, a Thai menu is also available, specifically designed for the Christmas parties typical of this time of year.
