The Band Monte Cara, performed for the first time at the B.Leza culture space, in a magical and long night, where Cape Verdean music was queen.
On stage, the spirit of a space that, inaugurated in Lisbon in 1976, Monte Cara, named after a natural monument on the island of São Vicente, was revived on stage, a meeting point, a nightclub and even a school dedicated to Cape Verdean culture.
Tito Paris, Toy Vieira, Paulinho Vieira were some of the musicians who made that stage mythical, but also Armando Tito, Celina Pereira or Cesária Évora, who received public figures such as Ramalho Eanes, António Guterres, the Heróis do Mar, Carlos do Carmo , Rui Reininho, Rui Veloso and Vitorino.
Banda Monte Cara returned, to relive these stories, musical nights and Cape Verdean culture and had as guests Rui Veloso, Dany Silva and Luiz Caracol.
