After a ravishing performance at the opening of the PLAY Awards and the conquest, for the second consecutive year, of the award for Best Female Artist, Barbara Bandeira premiered on Friday the new video clip of “Zona Sul,” a theme that integrates the latest project, Lusa: ato I.
At the PLAY Awards, the opening performance of the gala marked one of the most striking moments of the night. In a performance that covered Lisbon, from Avenida da Liberdade to Coliseu dos Recreios, Barbara Bandeira presented for the first time live a medley of themes from “Lusa: act I,” among them “Não Gosta,” “Mais,” “Flores,” and “Zona Sul.”
“Zona Sul”, which is the collaboration of WUI, a natural artist from Fortaleza, was born in a sunset in Rio de Janeiro, in January 2024, and deep the heat of Brazil with a nostalgic atmosphere, reflected in the hybrid and emotional spirit of “Lusa”. The video clip, now revealed, reinforces the visual component of Act I as a continuous and cinematic narrative, transporting us to a universe with characteristics already imitably recognizable in this project.
With Lusa: act I, Barbara Bandeira continues to consolidate itself as one of the most relevant voices of pop music in Portuguese, crossing languages, territories and emotions in a project that, over four acts, intends to build bridges between Portugal and Brazil.
“South Zone” is the fourth music video revealed from Lusa: act I, the testimony of “Fumaça” (feat. Veigh), “Não Gosta” and “Mais”. Lusa: act I is available on all digital platforms.
