Last Friday,Bárbara Tinoco filled the room at the AMAC – Augusto Cabrita Municipal Auditorium, in Barreiro, which marked, for many Barreirenses, the return to the culture rooms, after the lifting of the confinement rules.
The Cacém artist, who made herself known on The Voice Portugal in 2018, is finishing recording her debut album, which will come out later this year, and presented some of her songs last Friday, April 30th, at the Augusto Cabrita Municipal Auditorium, around 8:30 pm.
Bárbara took the stage accompanied by her guitarist João Gaspar, with “Estrelas“, a song made with Carolina Deslandes, and the singles “Outras Línguas” and “Fugir de ser” followed. There was then a dance moment with the song “Diz-me o que é que fizeste“, followed by the songs “Sei lá“, “Loira“, “Devia ir“, original of the group Wet Bed Gang, and “Advogado“, which are part of the EP of collaborations by Bárbara with the participation of Diana Martinez, Carlão, Bárbara Bandeira, Carolina Deslandes, Tyoz and António Zambujo.
We also heard “O teu namorado“, “Cidade“, “Cartas de Guerra“, music she wrote for her grandparents Maria and João, who exchanged love letters when João was at war, and “Tragédia“, an unprecedented song that still has not been released and will be part of her debut album. Bárbara and João said goodbye to the audience but returned shortly afterward with the delicious and warm applause by the Barreirenses and played the song that started Bárbara’s music career in 2018, “Antes dela dizer que sim”
The launch of Bárbara Tinoco’s debut album, which will be called “Correio Azul“, is scheduled for the end of this year and two presentation concerts are already scheduled in the Coliseums of Lisbon and Porto, on November 13th and 20th, of next year, respectively.
