Basilda perform at the Festival Dá Corda on August 25 at Praia da Luz

The 2021 edition of the Festival Dá Corda continues on the 25th of August, at 7 pm, with a concert by Basilda at the Praia da Luz Restaurant, in Porto. The Festival, which aims to merge culture with the area of tourism, presents Basilda’s new album, “Keep On Dancing”, live.

With their feet always on the dance floor, but winking at a more introverted facet in songs like ‘Say Something’, Basildas had the help of the prestigious Mário Barreiros in the production of “Keep On Dancing”, an album that shines among G-funk and Nu disco, House and R&B.

The Dá Corda Festival is presenting throughout 2021, live music concerts, with online transmission, in different hotel spaces and accommodation units located in the Porto and North region, and will last until January 2022.

After Basilda, the Festival Dá Corda continues on September 22 with a concert by Raquel Martins at Quinta do Vallado Wine Hotel, in Peso da Régua, and on November 6 with Dan Riverman and Sara Cruz at Douro 41 Hotel and Spa in Castelo of Paiva.

Each performance will translate into a work opportunity for the musicians and their technical team involved in the production of the show and, simultaneously, a tool for the dissemination and promotion of the spaces chosen as the stage.

The concerts are aimed at hotel guests. They will also be broadcast on social networks and the public can apply for free stays.

Festival Dá Corda thus intends to reactivate two sectors that have been heavily affected by the pandemic and revitalize tourism in areas of the country with less demand, showing the potential of each location.
