Basketball: FC Porto beats Illiambum 66-61

This Monday FC Porto defeated Illiabum by 66-61, thus stamping the passage to the round of 16 of the Portuguese Cup in basketball.

The dragons had to sweat (and do well) to move on, as they reached the fourth period losing by 48-37. However, a last dream period, where FC Porto scored 29 points, allowed Moncho López’s team to go into the ‘quarters’ of the Cup.

It should be remembered that Vitória de Guimarães, Esgueira and Oliveirense have also stamped their passport to the quarter-finals of the queen competition of Portuguese basketball.
