UGURU regrets to inform that due to the constraints caused by the pandemic COVID -19, namely with regard to the new rules on the capacity of the rooms, the Bebel Gilberto, Lloyd Cole, Avishai Cohen, and Pablo Milanês concerts scheduled for this year are postponed to 2021.

Soon we will make available all the information about the new dates and the procedures that are necessary to carry out for each of the concerts, namely with regard to the exchange of tickets.

Lloyd Cole is back in a country that has always known how to applaud his music. The classics that the English composer signed at the beginning of his career with Commotions were ubiquitous in our radio playlists in the 80s and since he launched solo with a homonymous album in 1990, Cole has never stayed too long away from our established country a solid stage reputation.

If there is a name that perfectly rhymes today with bossa nova, it is undoubtedly Bebel Gilberto‘s. The singer has been working for more than 30 years, having signed her first homonymous record in 1986. But in the late 90s, the electronic explosion associated with the modernist concept of “lounge” opened up a new space that she came to fill with today classic “Tanto Tempo”, released in 2000.

Since then, Bebel has collected applause all over the world, from Japan to Europe and the United States, has been distinguished with several nominations for the prestigious Grammy Awards, participated in the famous Red Hot + Rio series and collaborated with important artists in addition to recording for historic labels of jazz-like Verve.

Able to leave jazz and get close to pop, explore Arab or Israeli nuances and go to classical music, Avishai is a portentous creator who wants to invite us to celebrate the most positive unifying spirit of music on this special tour that will also pass through our country.

The conductor of the “new trova”, Pablo Milanés, one of the greatest treasures of the author’s song in Spanish, comes to Portugal to present Esencia, his most recent show. Accompanied by Ivonne Téllez at the piano and Caridad R. Varona on the cello, the Cuban artist proposes a recital that will travel through his wide career spanning six decades.

Your concert will pass through these career milestones, but also through lesser-known gems, true gems of an immense discography that spans dozens of albums, the most recent of which, Amor, released together with his daughter, Haydée Milanés, in 2017.
