Bebel Gilberto returns to Lisbon in May with new album

The singer will present a new album that will be released internationally a few weeks before with the first single to be revealed on February 17th, adds a note from the promoter.

Bebel Gilberto’s new record is produced by Thomas Bartlett (St. Vincent, Sufjan Stevens) and compositions by the singer.

With a career spanning over 30 years, Bebel Gilberto had his debut album in 1986. In the late 1990s, the electronic explosion opened up a new space that he came to fill with “Tanto Tempo”, released in 2000.

Since then, Bebel has been distinguished with several Grammy nominations and has collaborated with several artists.

The singer’s last shows in Portugal date back to April 2019 when she performed at Casa da Música, in Porto, and at the Tivoli Theater.
