Benfica and FC Porto dispute the Super Cup in December

The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) announced, this Wednesday, the official date for the realization of this year’s Cândido de Oliveira Super Cup, between Benfica and FC Porto.

The classic is scheduled for December 23. The place and time of the game have not yet been revealed by the institution.

The dispute for this trophy has traditionally marked the official start of the season, but which, on the understanding of the Federation and Clubs, has been postponed to lighten the calendar and thus safeguard the interests of the Portuguese teams involved in UEFA competitions.
