Benfica beat Anderlecht and are in the last 32 of the Champions League

Benfica qualified for the round of 32 of the women’s football Champions League by beating Anderlecht 2-1 in Brussels in the second qualifying round.

The Belgians took the lead in the 55th minute, through Tison, but Benfica was quick to respond and leveled seven minutes later (62), with a shot from outside the area of Brazilian Nycole Raysla, a player who scored twice and put the ‘incarnates’ in front, at 78, through a spectacular arch shot.

In their debut season in the competition, the Benfica team will go on to the round of 32, which will be played in two hands, on 08/09 December and on 15/16 December, whose draw will take place next Tuesday (24th) November) in Nyon, Switzerland.
