Benfica loses to Boavista and falls to second place

On the sixth round, Benfica suffered, this Monday, the first defeat in the Championship, losing by 0-3 at Bessa, against Boavista.

Angel Gomes (18′, penalty), Elis (38′) and Hamache (76′) scored the three goals for Vasco Seabra’s team, who added the first victory in the competition and went up to 13th place, with six points.

With the first loss of points, Benfica gave the isolated lead to Sporting. The lions have 16 points, followed by Jorge Jesus, with 15.
