Marcel Matz’s team lost the first partial 25-20, but then won three, 25-23, 25-21 and 25-23, in one hour and 53 minutes.
In the fourth round of the competition, Benfica’s team will now join Group D, with the Russians from Zenit, with whom they will play on December 1st, in St. Petersburg, the Germans from Berlin Recycling Volleys and the Serbs of Vojvodina Novi Sad .
