Benfica ‘steals’ Sporting Championship lead

Benfica received and beat the Sporting 4-3 in Futsal.

Benfica won and ended with Sporting’s 100% victorious record in the national futsal championship at the Pavilhão da Luz 4-3.

Sporting started well in the match, scoring eight minutes from the derby for Erick. Still, in the first half, Robinho, Chaguinha and Fábio Cecílio scored and went around the marker.

Sporting managed to reduce in the second half by, Cardinal and Erick but failed to consummate the turnaround.

Benfica rise to the isolated leadership of the national championship with this victory over Sporting.
