Benfica ties with Famalicão and postpones the blue and white party

Benfica tied this Thursday to a goal in the visit to Famalicão, in a match of the 31st round of the Portuguese First League, and left FC Porto closer to the title.

Benfica, who in case of defeat saw FC Porto win the championship yesterday, opened the scoring on 37 minutes, through Pizzi, but Famalicão came to a draw in the second half with a goal from Guga, on 84.

With this result, Benfica is in second place, with 68 points, eight of the dragons, who only need one point to become champions, while Famalicão is in sixth, with 49 points, in the fight for a place in European competitions.
