Benfica beats Braga and moves up to 3rd place (2-0)
This Sunday, Braga won 2-0 on Matchday 24 and took the third place from the classification to Carlos Carvalhal’s team.
Rafa (45+2), after Seferovic’s pass, and the Swiss striker (56), assisted by Rafa, scored the two goals of Jorge Jesus’ team, in a game in which SC Braga played with 10 since the 39th minute due to expulsion of Fransérgio after accumulation of yellow.
With the fourth consecutive victory in the championship, Benfica climbs to third place, with 51 points, and places itself in a position of access to the Champions League, overtaking SC Braga, which has 50.
