“Vias de Extinção“, by Benjamim, and “Tudo no Amor“, by Clã, received the awards for Best Work of Portuguese Popular Music and Best Theme of Portuguese Popular Music, respectively, in the latest edition of the Sociedade Portuguesa de Autores Awards.
“Vias de Extinção“, recognized with the maximum distinction of the SPA awards, in the category of popular music, is the third album of originals by Benjamin. The album was also included in the list of the best of the year in more than a dozen publications. In celebration of the album’s first anniversary, Benjamim and his band present “Vias de Extinção” at Lux Frágil on the 25th of November, on a night where the songs will be at home and the party will take place on the dance floor.
“Tudo no Amor“, theme written by Hélder Gonçalves (Clã) and Sérgio Godinho, is part of the album “Véspera“, published in May 2020, which was also the subject of a series of distinctions, including best group in the last edition of the Play Awards.
Clã will return to Lisbon on the 20th of November for a concert at Culturgest’s Grand Auditorium.
Noiserv was also nominated in the category of Best Portuguese Popular Music Theme with “Eram 27 Meters de Salto“, from the album “Uma Palavra started by N“.
