Benjamin Clementine with sold out room in Porto and last tickets to Lisbon
Florence Clementine in the first part of the concerts in Portugal
Benjamin Clementine is returning to Portugal next week and bringing his wife, Florence Clementine, with him to open the concerts at Campo Pequeno, in Lisbon, and at the Super Bock Arena, in Porto.
Previously known by her stage name Flo Morissey, the singer released the albums Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful (2015) and Gentlewomen, Ruby Man (2017).
In 2020, she teamed up with Benjamin under the duo The Clementines to release the single “Calm Down.” Last year, she adopted the name Florence Clementine, having already released the song “Easy Kind of Man“.
Benjamin Clementine’s concert scheduled for Saturday, September 23rd, at the Super Bock Arena, is already sold out. There are still some tickets left for the presentation of the album And I Have Been at Campo Pequeno, which takes place next Friday, September 22nd.
Already on tour, the award-winning artist has performed live several songs from his most recent record of originals, released last year, including the single “Genesis“. These are joined by the successes of its predecessors At Least for Now (2015) and I Tell a Fly (2017).
“And I Have Been” was written during confinement and reflects on the vicissitudes of sharing a home with someone else at a time when home was all we had.
