Bispo, Treyce, Ivandro, Chico da Tina, Regula, José Cid and Poesia Acústica among the confirmations of O Sol da Caparica

The eighth edition of Sol da Caparica is coming up and promises to provide the public with an unforgettable experience at the biggest festival dedicated to Portuguese-speaking music.

With a variety of musical genres, ranging from pop to hip hop, from rock to African music, the festival will feature many artists from Lusophony who will perform on the five stages throughout the days of the event.

The first day of the festival promises to bring a mix of novelties with the debut of Sippinpurpp, on the Kavi Music stage, and on the Dom Tápparo stage, Acoustic Poetry, one of the most interesting artistic movements of recent times, which refers to the rhyme battles of the 90s and that presents a new way of consuming mass culture, adding more than 2.7 billion views on Youtube, and more than 960 million streams on Spotify.

Still within the confirmations for the 17th, for the same stage is the rapper Dillaz, one of the most renowned artists and one of the pioneers of Portuguese Hip-Hop, who promises to transport the public to ancient times, with successful themes such as “Galileo” and “Juvena”, and his last album “Oitavo Céu”. Another name announced for the first day, on the Red Tazz stage, is the carioca Treyce, an artist who occupies the 7th position of the Top 50 Portugal on Spotify, known for “Lovezinho”, a hit that went viral with a dance by Xurrasco.

On the second day, on the Dom Tápparo Stage, big names in Portuguese music will perform: Bispo, who has just presented two new outstanding themes in his return to releases: ” Pontos Finales ” and ” Planeta “, and one of the biggest references in the music scene country: José Cid, with more than 60 years of career and owner of huge successes such as “Nasci p’ra Música” and “Um grande, grande amor”.

For the 18th, the presence of Lon3r Johny, the hip-hop artist known for his alternative style and innovative music, is also confirmed. The singer combines elements of rock, pop, and electronica, which has made him an influential figure in underground music.

On the third day of the festival, the poster announces two artists with a sound much appreciated by the younger audience: Deejay Telio, and the Vienense troubadour Chico da Tina, recognized for his sound versatility that mixes trap, hip-hop and elements of traditional Portuguese music .

The names previously announced for the last day of the festival are now joined by other great artists on the Dom Tápparo Stage: Regula, one of the biggest and most acclaimed in hip-hop culture, known as one of the greatest inspirers of the Nova-Escola movement Portuguese rap, and Ivandro, the national artist most listened to on Spotify by the Portuguese in 2022 and author of several digital and radio hits. He was also one of the composers and performers of the last edition of the Festival da Canção. On the Red Tazz stage, we will have the opportunity to hear the new voice of Portuguese pop, Rita Laranjeira, whose single “Clouds” is already part of the new TVI soap opera “Queridos Papás”, and the duo of Cape Verdean artists and producers, Supa Squad, which with its catchy music and captivating rhythms, will certainly provide an unforgettable end to the festival.
