The Tejo room at the Meo Arena, in Lisbon, hosted another iconic night. The Portuguese band Blasted Mechanism once again gave a memorable concert to a nearly full room, after having also conquered Porto.
Valdjiu, Guitshu, Fred Stone, Riic Wolf and Ary took to the stage and released all the band’s energy, their avant-garde strength to an audience of fervent fans, who followed them from start to finish, in a vibrant and brilliant night for this fantastic band, with the first part being in charge of Jazzy Moon.
The show was a journey through the band’s career, since the first album Plasma (1999), but they also remember their discography, such as Namastê (2003), Avatar (2005), Som na Luz / Luz no Som (2007), Mente em Larga (2009), Blasted Generation (2012), among others or the EP Balayhashi (1997).
With more than a dozen albums released, they have already won a Golden Globe and been distinguished with three nominations for MTV Best Portuguese Act, they have performed on the biggest national stages such as NOS Alive 2024, as well as international ones, such as the emblematic Glastonbury festival.

The show at Meo Arena in a year in which they celebrate 30 years of career was a celebration of the band and their fans that will certainly remain in the memory of Blasted Mechanism, but also of everyone who has followed them for three decades.
The electro-rock band formed in Lisbon in 1995, known for their highly theatrical live shows, with elaborate alien-themed costumes serving as a backdrop to their unique music and blending influences from alternative rock, electronic music, reggae, dub and folk.
The band features Guitshu on vocals (since 2008), Riic Wolf on vocals (since 2018), Valdjiu on bambuleco, kalachakra, banjo-bandola and guitars, Ary on bass, Fred Stone on drums, but the band has also included Karkov on vocals (until 2008), Miguel Cardona on guitar, Zymon on electric guitar, sitar and keyboards, Salvatori on tiliba and didgeridoo, Winga on percussion and Castora on percussion.
