Blaya warmed up the night at the Moita Festivities
The Daniel do Nascimento Bullring filled on the night of August 24 for the presentation of the Festivities in Honor of Nossa Sr.ª da Boa Viagem that took place from 6 to 15 September.
After months of intense work of organizing and building the Holidays in Honor of Nossa Sr.ª da Boa Viagem, the most anticipated days of the year arrived for the Festival Coordinating Committee and for the entire population of Moita. There were 10 days of tradition, joy and a lot of animation.
The poster includes names such as Boney M, Syro, Iberia, Cuca Roseta, Quim Barreiros, HMB, April Ivy, Deejay Kamala and the Armada Band on the Marginal Stage, with major shows coming at 23:00.
Religious celebrations centered on the first Sunday of the party, September 8th. There were thousands of people who attended the imposing procession in honor of Nossa Sr.ª da Boa Viagem, followed by the blessing of the typical Tagus vessels.
September 10th, was Blaya‘s turn to warm up at night. The artist joined the music business in 2001 and, in 2008, she joined the Buraka Som Sistema, a partnership that would last until 2016, as the group is on hiatus.
The EP “Blaya” introduces its funk side, Brazilian ancestry, updates the trap, uses hip-hop school and can meet its sweetest, most delicate R&B side.
The Festivals of Moita offer two more stages, with daily shows: one in Praça da República and another in Largo Conde Ferreira, this one more suited to popular balls. All concerts are open air and with free admission.
