Bonga and Mayra Andrade at Festival Jardins do Marquês – Oeiras Valley

African rhythms passed through the stage of the Festival Jardins do Marquês – Oeiras Valley with Bonga and Mayra Andrade.

The Festival Jardins do Marquês – Oeiras Valley, designed to awaken all the senses, in an iconic space, aimed at an audience that emphasizes quality and comfort and seeks new experiences, organized 7 outdoor nights and 14 intimate concerts with national and international, in Oeiras

On the 9th of July, Mayra Andrade and Bonga took to the stage with two unforgettable concerts of African rhythms.

Mayra Andrade, Cape Verdean artist, mixes afrobeat, urban music and traditional Cape Verdean rhythms, and we could hear songs like “Afeto”, “Badia”, “Terra da Saudade”, “Limitason”, “Tan Kalakatan”, “Pull up”, “Tunuca”, “Vapor di imigrason”, “Manga”, “Segredu”, “Lua” and “Guardar Mais”.

Afterwards, Angolan artist Bonga, ambassador of semba music, took the stage, a rhythm of Angola, with about 15 records, where we could hear at the Festival the themes “Kuá macove”, “Cambomborinho”, “Ngana Ngonga”, “Makongo”, “Homem do Saco”, “Mona”, “Kisselenguenha”, “Água Rara”, “Mulemba Xangola”, “Kambuá”, “Olhos Molhados”, “Frutas de Vontade”, “Mukanje”, “Mariquinha”, “Sambila”, “Kabolobo” and “Jingonça”.

Seu Jorge & Daniel Jobim Sing Tom Jobim, Rua das Pretas, Maria João Pires, Júlio Resende, Rufus Wainwright, Vicente Palma, António Zambujo and Tainá have also passed on the stage of the Festival, always strictly complying with all health rules determined by the Directorate-General for Health.
