Braço de Prata Factory receives Kora festival
West African Harp again featured at the Braço de Prata Factory next Saturday, September 28, starting at 7 pm.
The Braço de Prata Factory will put Kora back on display with a night dedicated to this 21-string harp from West Africa.
After a first edition, held last January, Fábrica Braço de Prata will once again organize spaces, stages and a menu dedicated to Kora.
The musical part of the event is in charge of Kora Orchestra, which with Demba Galissá, Mbye Ebrima, Bubacar Djabate, and Maio Coopé. Demba Galissá and Mbye Ebrima will also perform a masterclass.
There is also a sample of typical local products for sale, as well as a dedicated dinner (10 euros per person).
The second edition of Kora Fest will be held next Saturday, September 28, from 19h. Admission prices range from 5 to 10 euros (Masterclass – 5 euros; All night concerts – 7.50 euros; Masterclass + Concerts – 10 euros).
