June 29th, 30th and July 1st at Oeiras Parque and Strada Outlet
From June 29th to July 1st, the 21st edition of the Blood Collection will take place in Mundicenter shopping malls, with the motto “Arms in Arms for a Good Cause”. In partnership with the Portuguese Institute of Blood and Transplantation (IPST), the Oeiras Parque and Strada Outlet Shopping Centers will organize blood collection sessions where the importance of this solidarity gesture is called for.
Between 10 am and 7 pm, the population is invited to make a difference and head to these malls in an act of generosity and solidarity, in a space where all contributions are important and help save lives. To participate, people must be between 18 and 65 years old (the age limit for the first donation is 60 years old), weigh more than 50 kg, and have healthy lifestyle habits.
Knowing that shopping malls are places whose proximity to the population makes it possible to sensitize those who pass by these spaces daily to become blood donors, the Mundicenter Group and IPST are once again joining forces in a solidarity initiative that aims to alert people to the importance of blood and health reserves and, in this way, contribute to the greater good of society.
