Braga Book Fair resumes face-to-face format
Admission free, the event will have the involvement of more than 160 authors and creators and 21 booksellers, second-hand booksellers and publishers.
With the “B Side” of culture serving as the motto for the 2021 edition, four personalities from Braga’s history and culture inspire the programme, namely Sebastião Alba, António Variações, Maria Ondina Braga and Mestre José Veiga.
Dulce Maria Cardoso, Pedro Chagas Freitas, Samuel Úria and João Melo are some of the names on the 2021 edition program, which will combine interviews, debates, gatherings and book presentations with musical shows and the creation of a collective tile panel, the position of 14 women.
The event will also feature the implementation of ‘silent events’, allowing the public to follow the events included in the schedule of the Municipality of Braga, the dst group and the zet gallery.
In addition to the programming carried out in person, the Book Fair will have the transmission, through its digital channels, of a series of events integrated in the event.
This year, the fair moved from the historic center to the Altice Forum, to allow the implementation of all prevention norms against covid-19.
