Braga Parque enters the rhythm of Children’s Day with “The songs of Maria”
On June 3rd, at 3pm, the magic of learning through music
On Saturday, June 3rd, Braga Parque will celebrate Children’s Day in a special way, with activities for all ages.
The production “As Canções da Maria”, conceived and performed by the well-known educator Maria de Vasconcelos, will delight parents and children on this day, at 3 pm, offering an opportunity to learn and celebrate the history of Portugal in a playful and captivating way.
Maria de Vasconcelos, the creative mind behind this innovative music education project, brought a unique approach to early childhood education to the world, making learning a fun and engaging experience. Inspired by her daughters’ positive reaction to the musical interaction with the school subject, Maria began to create songs, poems and pedagogical curiosities, revealing in a didactic way to children – and also to parents, educators, and teachers – that all knowledge is more easily absorbed with joy and rhythm.
This educational project, which has three CD+DVD+Books, with illustrations by Nuno Markl, has become an essential study tool to address various topics. With “As Canções da Maria”, it is possible to learn mathematics, the Portuguese language, the study of the environment and even relaxation techniques to be done after a long study session.
Braga Parque will provide its customers with a unique and educational experience in this celebration of Children’s Day, on the steps of the mall, celebrating the magic of learning through music and the arts.
