The Municipality of Bragança launched the third call for applications for the Municipal Emergency Fund for Business Support “Protecting the Economy and Employment”, decided today (March 8), in a Chamber Meeting and which provides for an allocation of 300 thousand euros, non-refundable.
Through this measure, the Municipality of Bragança aims to support companies and workers, with headquarters / fiscal domicile in the municipality, especially micro and small companies, which have been affected by the economic crisis caused by the pandemic and which results, in most cases, in problems treasury to resolve short-term commitments.
This measure complements the existing municipal tax benefits, such as exemption from the payment of spills to taxable income in the area of corporate income tax, representing annual support from the Municipality of Bragança to companies (over one million euros) and the application of the minimum tax rate. IMI, among others.
Applications for this Fund run until 17:30 on March 22, 2021 and must be completed by filling out the form, available at https://www.cm-braganca.pt/pages/2004, where they can also be consulted, the rules for this measure.
It should be recalled that the Municipality of Bragança supported, in the two previous phases of the Municipal Emergency Fund for Business Support, 418 micro and small companies, allocating half a million euros to them, on a non-refundable basis.
