Bragança reduces 50% price of slaughter in the Municipal Slaughterhouse
The municipality of Bragança will reduce by 50 percent the price paid by producers regarding animal slaughter in the Municipal Slaughterhouse of Bragança, from 15 March to June 3021.
[dropcap]T[/dropcap]his measure, adopted by the municipality of Bragança for the second consecutive year, aims to support livestock and assumes particular importance in a time of crisis, in which the pandemic resulted in breaks up to 80 percent in meat sales, causing difficulties in the flow of products and It resulted in the reduction in about 40 percent of the number of slaughter in the Municipal Slaughterhouse of Bragança, compared to the same period.
It should be noted that, between June and December 2020, this measure represented a support in the amount of 31,207,77 euros to the creators/clients of the Municipal Slaughterhouse of Bragança.
To benefit from this reduction, customers may not have debts higher than 60 days and five thousand euros (cumulatively), referring to services rendered in the Municipal Slaughterhouse of Bragança.
