Singer-songwriter Brenda Percontini presents her latest single, “Sigilo,” a song that promises to shake hearts and make everyone reflect on the dangers of hidden love.
Now available on digital platforms, the song combines the best of country music with the contagious energy of the bachata, bringing a direct and powerful message.
“Sigilo” is inspired by real stories and addresses in a sincere and uncomplicated way the complexities of clandestine relationships. With reflective lyrics and a dancing rhythm, the song not only amuses but also provokes: “If secrecy was good, it wouldn’t give m****; if romance were perfect, it wouldn’t give a shit.”
Produced by Batuta, who also signed the composition alongside Brenda, the song was born naturally. “The melody and chorus came in less than 10 minutes, like a true vent of soul,” reveals the artist. The song carries the essence of those who have experienced, learned and chosen to celebrate freedom: “My status is permanent: single; my relationship is with the bagasse.”
