Brenda Percontini is 23 years old and was born in Brazil, in Sapeaçu, in the interior of Bahia, but has lived almost all her life in Salvador. After the first steps taken in Brazil, Brenda settled definitively in Portugal, now releasing her first single, entitled “Mata Qualquer Um”.
The young singer worked with producer Daus and singer-songwriter Katalina Borozan on “Mata Qualquer Um”. Brenda Percontini states that “This song defines me so much. High self-esteem, empowerment and vanity among women… The way we women enjoy the challenge of conquering, provoking and attracting attention anywhere, whether in style or in dance. Especially when friends get together and the attitude of feeling powerful increases.”
In Brazil, she collaborated with singer-songwriter Filipe Escandurras, who guided her to compose her first songs. She accompanied, for example, Escandurras to compose the huge success O Baby (420 million views on YouTube) for Kevinho and MC Kekel, a process that inspired the artist to make her songs. In Portugal, she had the opportunity to share the stage with MC Zuka, performing for an authentic crowd and recently, she opened the concert by Jorge and Mateus, in Campo Pequeno.
Now it shows what it’s worth with “Mata Qualquer Um”, which will put Brenda Percontini’s name on the map.
