Wine Brunch and Watercolor Workshop with wine
suggestions from José Maria da Fonseca to celebrate Mother's Day
On May 7th, Mother’s Day is celebrated. To surprise the most special mothers, José Maria da Fonseca has prepared two different programs, a wine brunch at Adega José de Sousa, in Reguengos de Monsaraz, and a watercolor workshop with wine at the Casa Museu José Maria da Fonseca, in Azeitão.
These programs are available for visitors who are accompanied by their mothers and who make a prior reservation.
At Adega José de Sousa, the program begins with a guided tour of one of the oldest and most traditional wineries in the region, which includes two different spaces for wine production, combining tradition with innovation: Adega dos Potes and Adega Moderna. To make this visit even more special, the program is followed by a Wine Brunch that includes various delicacies, such as cheeses, sausages, pies, waffles, biscuits, jams, and fruits, accompanied by sparkling wine and wine. At the end of the visit, the gift of a plant in a ceramic pot is reserved.
The José Maria da Fonseca House Museum was built in the 19th century. XIX and restored in 1923 by the Swiss architect Ernesto Korrodi, Teresa Barreto will be the trainer of the workshop of watercolors with wine. For one hour, participants will have the creative freedom to create a decorative or functional object, using the three shades of wine (red, rosé, and white). At the end of the workshop, there will be a tasting of Moscatel de Setúbal, with the right to a 10% discount at the Casa Museu wine shop, on May 7th.
