Bruno Candé will be honored with concert
Dino D’Santiago, Tristany, Sam The Kid, Jacqueline Monteiro, G Fema, and the group of Batukadeiras Bandeirinha da Boba, accompanied by trumpeter Ricardo Pinto, make up the poster for the “Concerto 25 de Julho”, an initiative of the #MAKAlisboa project in co-organized with the Festival Iminente, which will be broadcast online.
Bruno Candé was murdered on 25 July last year in Moscavide and the man who shot him was sentenced, at the end of June this year, to 22 years and nine months in prison. The 76-year-old defendant was charged with the crime of aggravated homicide, aggravated by racial hatred, and possession of an illegal weapon.
In the context of the #MAKAlisboa project, one hundred t-shirts were created, numbered, with a portrait of Bruno Candé by the artist Francisco Vidal, which will be for sale on the website of Galeria Underdogs and whose total amount raised will revert to the three children of the actor.
The concert will be broadcast from 9.30 pm on Sunday on the Festival Iminente page on social networks Instagram and Youtube.
