Bruno Miguel Resende’s film ‘Coronantine’, about quarantine in Porto, recorded during Easter 2020, won the prize for excellence at the Beyond the Curve International Film Festival, in Paris, in the category of ‘Quarantine Stories’.
Bruno Miguel Resende refers that at the Parisian festival, certified by the IMDb (Internet Movie Database), an online database of information on music, cinema, films, programs, and commercials for television and computer games, he was also nominated for best short film with ‘Mask Shift’.
Having made eight short films after the start of the pandemic, with a mobile phone and without any support, this was the path chosen by Bruno Miguel Resende to overcome the labor ban on similar festivals and shows, with the group Os Arlotes, where he works.
