Bruno Pernadas reveals two songs from his new album
to be released in February
“Steady Grace” and “Juro que vi túlipas” (with guest singer Maya Blandy) are the first tracks chosen by Bruno Pernadas to pave the way for his new album, to be released early next year.
The launch concert is scheduled for February 19th at Culturgest in Lisbon.
Bruno Pernadas presents a work divided into 9 compositions for rhythm section, vocals, brass, woodwinds and electronics. An album that varies between diverse styles, where improvisation and the presence of jazz play a decisive role.
The musician is credited as composer, author and producer, with the exception of one lyric which he shares with Rita Westwood, a collaborator on previous works. It also features the participation of musicians Margarida Campelo, António Quintino, João Correia, Diogo Alexandre, José Soares, Teresa Costa, Jéssica Pina and Eduardo Lála. The unmistakable voice of Margarida Campelo is joined by guest singers Leonor Arnaut, Lívia Nestrovski, and Maya Blandy (who participates in “Juro que vi túlipas”).
Recorded in the summer of 2025, the new work – whose title will be revealed soon – is released by Pataca Discos and will be presented for the first time at Culturgest, in Lisbon, on February 19, 2026. Tickets will be available at the usual locations from 11 am next Tuesday, December 16.
