The 34th edition of the fair will host conferences, talks and other initiatives spread across seven different areas. Artificial intelligence, sustainability, experiences and technological solutions will be highlighted.

For its 34th edition, which starts on the 28th of February, BTL – Bolsa de Turismo de Lisboa reinforced its focus on content for professionals and consumers, with the organization and hosting of several initiatives.

An example of this is the various initiatives that will take place in the AVK Auditorium. On February 28th, the first day of BTL, the highlight will be the CNN Portugal Summit “Portugal Tour”, organized by CNN Portugal, which will debate the main challenges of national tourism. Still on the AVK Stage, during public hours, there will be performances by “The Sweet Girls” by Finally Club; “Drags Show” by Posh Lisbon, Show by Leandro Buenno, among others.

In turn, on the BPI Stage, tourism professionals will be able to find out more about how artificial intelligence is being worked on in the sector in sessions promoted by NEST and Microsoft. Good governance practices, humanization, the value of experiences, technological innovation and sustainability will also be the subject of reflection in conferences organized, over the three professional days of the fair, by AMROP, European University, BTL, NEST, BPI and RIPTUR.

The BTL Lab by Pousadas da Juventude will once again host sessions dedicated to innovation and technological solutions for tourism. Revenue management, data technology, good financial planning practices, gamified self-guided tours and photography will be some of the topics highlighted in this area of BTL, which will welcome companies such as XLR8 RMS, Cloudbeds, Bedsrevenue, Fairmas GmbH, Explorial and Fujifilm.
