The third day of Building the Future, the largest digital transformation event in the Portuguese business ecosystem, led by Microsoft and developed by imatch, will be dedicated to Education. Edu Day, which will take place on January 28, is curated by the José Neves Foundation and the participation of names such as John Elkann, President of the holding EXOR and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, and Chairman of Ferrari.
Edu Day will debate the digital transformation in the Education area, with the ambition of responding to the current needs of students, teachers and schools, as well as re-imagining the challenges of the future, under the theme “Empowering learning anytime, anywhere”.
From 3pm, José Neves will “share the stage” with John Elkann for a conversation not to be missed with the motto “Unleash the power of skills”. Before that, the afternoon starts with a keynote by Carlos Oliveira, Executive President and Co-founder of the José Neves Foundation, on training in response to the needs of the labor market, accompanied by the prestigious German statistician Andreas Schleicher, Director of OECD for Education.
Throughout the day, several panels dedicated to education will be held, through which names such as Francisco Veloso, “dean” from Imperial Business College in London, António Murta, co-founder of the José Neves Foundation, Erik Fernholm, CEO and Founder of 29k, and Cristina Fonseca, Co-Founder at Talkdesk and current Venture Partner at Indico Capital Partners, will pass.
