Bundesliga players tested every three days
The Bundesliga continues to study ways to minimize the effects of the new coronavirus pandemic and this Friday the possibility of players being tested at Covid-19 every three days is being reported.
According to the MDR, these tests would be operated by a medical group recently created by the German Football League and if any player was positive, the entire team would not be isolated, but only the athlete in question.
The move, officials believe, would speed up the return of the Bundesliga, which is suspended until April 30. Teams must present themselves on the field if they have 13 field players and two goalkeepers available, MDR also said.
It should be noted that there are nine rounds to play in the Bundesliga and that the DFL has the priority of ending the season by June 30th. Next Monday, news may appear, always with the proper authorization of the German health authorities.
