2023 is a year of celebration for Da Weasel.
The band which is considered one of the greatest references in Portuguese music, celebrates 30 years of existence, with a return to the stage and a much-anticipated concert at Meo Marés Vivas on July 14th. In an unprecedented collaboration, Burger King partners with Da Weasel and launches the campaign “Guess who’s back” which celebrates the band’s return to the stage – but not only! The project was presented today at the Burger King restaurant in Tagus Park by Hugo Campos, the brand’s Marketing Manager, and by the six members of Da Weasel.
Guess who is back? The Da Weasel and the Rodeo XXL Menu!
Also at Burger King, there will be a long-awaited return – almost as awaited as that of Da Weasel – a hamburger that consumers of the brand have been asking for a return to restaurants for some time – the Rodeo. Giving voice to their fans, Burger King and Weasel present the Da Weasel Menu: Double Rodeo XXL: 2 slices of meat prepared on the grill, 4 slices of cheese, 3 slices of bacon, and to close, super crispy onion rings. All involved in a delicious barbecue sauce and bread with sesame seeds. So that all fans have the opportunity to experience this exclusive menu, the Menu Rodeo XXL will be available in options 1, 2, and 3 slices of meat, and also in the vegetarian option. This limited and exclusive edition will be available in all Burger King restaurants and Home Delivery from June 21st until August 21st.
Exclusive Experiences for Weasel and Burger King Fans
As part of this collaboration with Da Weasel, Burger King will provide its fans and the band’s fans with exclusive experiences through contests to be held on Burger King’s social networks. Those who prove to be true fans and those who know the band’s history will have the opportunity to participate in meet and greets, attend exclusive rehearsals in preparation for Da Weasel’s return, and attend the long-awaited concert at the Meo Marés Vivas festival on the 14th of July. There will also be other prizes such as autographed biographies of Da Weasel by all members of the band. Burger King and Da Weasel: irreverence and Innovation Hand in Hand
Burger King’s objective is to be where its consumers are in their different consumption moments, including leisure moments associated with music consumption. The strategy for choosing the artist or band that the brand wanted to associate with was very thoughtful, as a musical project was sought that would match Burger King’s values and that had a strong connection with the Portuguese and with the history of music Portuguese.

The return of Da Weasel in 2022 was one of the biggest musical successes of the year and as they celebrate 30 years of their career in 2023, Burger King wanted to honor them on this important date and bring together fans of the band and fans of the brand in an unprecedented celebration.
