Calema releases digital album Live in Meo Arena
with recordings of sold-out shows at MEO Arena, now available
The group is once again nominated in the Best Group category for the Play – Prêmio da Música Portuguesa, which will be announced on April 3rd.
The duo Calema, one of the biggest phenomena in Portuguese-speaking music, has just revealed the album Live in Meo Arena, which captures the energy and emotion of the two sold-out shows at MEO Arena on April 12 and 13, 2024. The album is now available exclusively on digital platforms, allowing fans to relive the magic of these unique shows.
The concerts at MEO Arena marked the celebration of the 15-year career of brothers António and Fradique Mendes Ferreira and were full of surprises and emotions. During the shows, the official video for the single “Viagem” was recorded live, which featured special participation from the thousands of fans present.
With a career full of achievements, Calema stands out for the historic concert at the Accor Arena (Bercy) in Paris, where they filled the house in front of 14 thousand spectators, becoming the first Portuguese artists to achieve this feat. They shared the stage with names such as Mariza, Black M, Dino D’Santiago, Nuno Ribeiro and Cephaz in a show that showcased Portuguese-speaking music. This year, they are preparing for another milestone: a concert at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon on June 7th. With the album Voyage – Part 2 and collaborations with Tayc on “Dis-le moi”, Calema continues to conquer France and the world, proving that his music transcends borders.
On the album Live in Meo Arena, we can rediscover some of the duo’s most recent hits, such as the single “Onde Anda” (5 Platinum), “A Nossa Dança” (3 Platinum) or “Te Amo” (Platinum Single in France).
